Typhoon Ketsana destroyed Babes retirement dream, we want to help her get it back.
On September 26, 2009, Typhoon Ketsana (also known as “Ondoy”) pounded the Philippines with a month’s worth of rainfall in just a few hours, resulting in the worst flooding to hit the region in more than four decades. In Markina City, ground zero for the storm, many were left with nothing but the clothes they were wearing that day.
Leticia “Babes” Lagman, a marketing representative at Hygieia and friend for 15 years, and her husband Ed had been putting all of their retirement money towards creating their dream home in Marikina City, Philippines where they had been planning to retire soon. Not only did the storm completely devastate their home, it also destroyed a recently purchased vehicle worth over $40K. If this had occurred in the United States it would not have been as tragic of a loss, but insurance for this type of disaster is not available in the Philippines so it’s a complete loss.
Leticia has helped and has touched the hearts of many people through her kindness, hard work and devotion to her family, friends, colleagues, and clients. Therefore, in this time of crisis for her and her husband, I am making a personal appeal for donations to help them realize their dream once again. I am certain that in this time, even the smallest donation will help and is very much appreciated.
For donations to help restore Leticia’s Retirement Dream:
Make checks payable to: Leticia
Lagman and mail to:
Leticia Lagman P.O. Box 8977, Anaheim, CA 92812.
Or if you prefer to make a donation with a debit or credit card, I have also set up a PayPal account, and all donations will be directly deposited to her personal bank account.
If you cannot give at this time, prayers are always accepted.
Thank you for your help,
